2020 has been the strangest year to say the least. But every cloud has a silver lining, right? Well, I suppose it's a bit of whatever you make it! When I got sent back to the UK from my job because of Coronavirus, I knew I had a big decision to make. Eat myself into a stupor, sit on my bum doing nothing and gradually fall into an emotional hole. OR use this extended period of time at home to be useful, give back to my community and maybe reignite my design passion. Okay, so my productive alter ego won the battle after the fatty on my shoulder ate everything in the cupboards for three weeks! Time for change.
Now I like to believe in fate, things happening for a reason and people falling into your life for a purpose. But I'm not naive enough to know that that's not always the case! However, meeting Amanda can definitely be classed as fateful! Born from her generosity for my Grandma's "Lockdown birthday" afternoon tea and the sheer amount of effort she put in off her own back. I'd heard a rumour that she was a bit stuck with moving her business forward, social media and branding. So I thought let's go and meet this lady and see if there's anything I can do for her...
